Versatile Metal Solutions for Plating and Industrial Uses
IMC’s Other Anodes product category offers a range of high-quality anode options beyond traditional copper, including brass, tin, zinc, and nickel materials. These products are engineered for consistent dissolution, reliable performance, and seamless integration with your plating systems. Manufactured with the same commitment to quality and traceability as all IMC metal products, these anodes help optimize bath stability, reduce defects, and support efficient, high-volume production.
70/30 Brass Anode Balls & Nuggets (IMC 422)
These brass anode balls and nuggets dissolve consistently and are suitable for use in any standard anode basket or tray. A specialized processing step eliminates the need for precleaning, saving time and reducing preparation steps. Every lot is supplied with a Certificate of Analysis to ensure quality and consistency. Common uses include decorative plating, wire plating, ammunition components, coinage, and corrosion protection for automotive parts.
Pure Tin Anode Balls (IMC 500 & 502)
IMC offers two grades of pure tin anode balls designed for a wide range of plating bath chemistries, including MSA, acid, and alkaline environments. These anodes provide a consistent surface area and predictable dissolution, and they’re ideal for automated chute loading without bridging or voids. Typical applications include wire plating, printed circuits, decorative finishes, electronic components, corrosion protection, electrical connectors, power distribution equipment, and coinage.
Zinc Anode Balls (IMC 620)
IMC zinc anode balls are flash-fire for easier handling and feature a uniform surface area that supports even dissolution. Designed for use with anode hooks or trays, these zinc anodes are suitable for a variety of plating and protection applications, including wire plating, automotive corrosion protection, decorative plating, electrical enclosures, fasteners, and coinage. Every batch includes a Certificate of Analysis.
Extruded Depolarized Nickel Bars (IMC 750)
For applications that require controlled current distribution and fine dissolution characteristics, IMC’s extruded depolarized nickel bars deliver dependable performance. Their very fine grain structure provides even dissolution, and the design allows superior control of the anode-to-cathode ratio in plating systems. Typical applications include decorative finishes, electronic components, electrical connectors, wire plating, and aerospace plating.

Quality, Traceability, and Performance You Can Rely On
All IMC Other Anodes are produced with strict quality controls, analytical testing, and full traceability from raw material through final inspection. This means you can trust the consistency of dissolution, surface area performance, and chemical reliability—batch after batch—when you integrate these anodes into your plating or industrial process.
